I've purchased several of these ultra bright cree lights and so far this one is my favorite. I bought it after seeing a friend of mine with it. The reasons I like it so much are: Size verse lumens...it is truly ultra bright but unit itself is compact, light, and easy to handle Lens is adjustable...slide the head back and forth for spot beam or wide beam. With spot beam it has an amazing throw, but most situations I want the wide beam. The other higher lumen lights I have aren't adjustable.
