This lamp is an all around great deal. I ordered this lamp after searching online and at local furniture and lamp stores. When I saw this lamp on Amazon and on sale, I knew this was perfect for the bedroom my girlfriend and I just redecorated. The lamp arrived within four days of my order, was well wrapped and very well made. - This striking Thistle table lamp from Waterford has all the polish of a royal sitting room while echoing the organic silhouette of the plant it is named for. A combination of Versailles-finish brass and beautifully cut crystal, the lamp adds stately illumination to a console table in the dining area or a library desk in the study. Its base features a band of sculptural ornamentation, balanced by the solid finial and the subtle decorations at the top of the body. The belled and flared crystal body matches diamond cuts with flat ones for graceful refraction. In addition, the lamp's inner mechanics are encased in a separate sheath of crystal to downplay their presence. Waterford includes an ivory Wilkshire fabric shade with this lamp, complete with soft box pleating and braided cord at the upper and lower rims.
