My light went on and off every 5 seconds. I checked the support website for heath zenith and found that this is caused by excess light in the area messing with the photocell. In my case, the back lights of a neighbor caused the problem. The support people sent me a free shade to put over the photocell and that fixed the problem. I like the lamp style and how it functions now that it has the shield.
