Lamp post came in a 2 x 2 box. It was well packed and protected. Fairly easy to assemble. Overall, excellent quality of materials. Only minor issue was with the connections of the posts to one another. Screws need to be longer, with a different head, as the ones shipped easliy stripped out(suggest Torx head).
