I had originally bought the "Heath Zenith SL-5512-BZ 300-Watt Quartz Halogen Motion-Sensing Twin Security Light" here from Amazon. These particular lights had a defect, in that, if any other motor (like a ceiling fan or garage door opener) was on the same circuit, the light would never turn off. This is because they have two automatic output power levels. So, before even installing them, I returned them. But, I loved the features offered on that light, like the fact that there are 3 sensitivity levels, and 4 timer settings (on,1,5,10 min), and an override feature activated by hitting the switch up and down to leave the light on and automatically reset to normal the next day. Due to the issues I had with the first light I purchased, I learned that most (if not all), of the Heath Zenith lights have these features. So, I decided on this light. Mostly based on price since it was the cheapest I could find. But, to save me (and Amazon) any more pain, I purchased these at Home Depot for more money, so that I could easily return them if there were any issues. I am pleased to say that they work perfectly. I put three of these units up, they were easy to install, they look fantastic, and they work great. They look kind of small compared to other porch lights, but to be honest, I think they look better that way. I'm using clear 60w ceiling fan bulbs, and they really look great. Besides having an automatic light for when I come home in the dark, I also need good lighting for snow removal at night. These are nice and bright. I have them on medium sensitivity for 1 minute and all three perform perfectly for me. I highly recommend these lights. Besides, for the price, you get both a good looking light along with motion and night sensing. I previously paid over $35 each for three motion adapters which I used to control my old light fixtures.
