Several weeks ago my vehicle was ransacked in my own driveway during the night. They got everything from jumper cables to in-dash CD player. One of the first things I did the next day was to get on the internet to find a motion sensor security light. The only light I could find that didn't require hardwire installation by an electrician was the Cooper MS100PG. After checking out it's specs, I ordered it. When it arrived a week later I installed it on the front of my garage- easily slipping the power cord between the wood siding above the door and screwing the light to the center post above the garage door springs. I did need it to go further than the 8' cord provided , so I found a grounded extension cord the same size and gauge of wire to get to the power outlet inside the garage. After running the wire across and down to the outlet, I wrapped the connection to the extension cord in electrical tape. I followed directions as to setting and placement and from that evening on I've had a dependable light that goes on every time something comes within range.
